This Month's Guests:

Media Critics
STEVE BEVERLY
AND
WESLEY HYATT
It's the first 2026 visit from the show's resident TV critics, Steve Beverly and Wesley Hyatt...
and as usual, they're locked, loaded, and ready to go as we cover current television. First up,
William S. Paley, the former Chairman of CBS is no longer spinning in his grave...he's already reached
maximum velocity, ruptured through said grave and is streaking toward Mars! The decline of this network
has been in full swing since the Ellison family bought Paramount. Their late night TV is a total mess with
the "leasing" of time to Byron Allen and his closet full of crappy programming, their news department
continues to lose credibility with Bari Weiss, a total incompetent, running things, and their fall schedule
leaves much to be desired. We predicted the total demise of all the broadcast networks by 2030, and CBS is
bumping up our prediction by four years. Other topics will include the merger of said CBS/Paramount with
Warner Brothers, and if it does succeed, what it means for both CBS News and CNN; we'll also check on the
latest Nexstar-Tegna merger battle with the courts and their continued massive layoffs in their local news
departments across the country; NBC/Comcast getting out of the syndication business while CBS presses on;
the continued bleeding of cable and satellite TV viewers; plus Wes will pay tributes to Demond Wilson and
Lauren Chapin...and of course, we'll read your e-mails. It's going to be a very full, fun, and entertaining
show, so please join us!

CURRENT SHOW:
#467
Jeanine devotes a show to four of her "favorite guys" and plays tracks from Rick Nelson,
Mike Clifford, Paul Petersen, and Jay North. Yes, Jay recorded an album way back in 1960,
and she spins a few tunes from that, as well as classic hits from the other three!
